W-10 is our brand new, proprietary way of stabilzing wood that is superior to anything else available on the knife market. The main advantage of W-10 stabilization over the traditional resin impregnation methods used in knife handle manufacturing is enhanced resistance to movement due to changes in ambient humidity. Additional benefits include superior machinability, higher luster finish, considerably lower wear on sanding belts, and improved toughness.
