Tight-weave fabric in phenolic resin, set under high pressure and heat. This is an old school, Westinghouse-style micarta that's been produced under license from Westonhouse in Russia since the 1930s.
 
Please note: Depending on your bushings, these grips may require O-rings in order to be screwed down tightly to the frame.
