We just wanted to have a bit of fun with this set, and decided to make a mosaic of colorful mammoth molar and ivory pieces set in a black resin. We really liked the result and you can be sure there's going to be more of these in the future.
 
We decided to take an extra step with these grips, and included two micarta inserts where the bushings enter the grip panels. So no matter how much you tighten the screws, there will be no compression of the actual ivory, and the risk of cracking the grips as a result goes down to zero.
 
Please note: Depending on your bushings, these grips may require O-rings in order to be screwed down tightly to the frame.
